Mat Greskie - Chief Executive Officer

Mat has a degree in Engineering (Civil) from RMIT. After graduating with First Class Honours, Mat has worked in a variety of Engineering and Management roles for the past 12 years. Areas of competence that he has developed are management, waste management (landfill, domestic collection and waste transfer stations), project management, asset management and construction and maintenance of civil works.

 

Debbie Smith - Executive Assistant

Debbie enjoys having the opportunity to utilise her broad range of administrative skills in fulfilling her role as Executive Assistant with Dulverton Waste Management.

Debbie has obtained her administrative experience over 30 years of working locally in banking, disability services and local government, focussing on administrative, executive assistant and customer service roles.

Debbie joined the Dulverton Waste Management team in March 2009. In her varied role, Debbie is responsible for the internal accounting of the Authority, providing administrative support to the management team and board of directors, client service/liaison and ensuring the smooth running of the DWM office.

Having completed a Certificate IV in Business Administration (Accounting) in early 2010, Debbie is continuing studies towards achieving her Diploma of Accounting.

 

Justin Jones - Manager Organics / Project Manager

Justin has twelve years experience in the waste and resource management industry. He is currently working for Dulverton Waste Management as the Project Manager and also Manager of the Organics Facility.

Areas of competence that he has developed are landfill management, environmental management, strategic planning and the establishment of the Organics Facility.

Achievements to date are:
  • Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety – TAFE Tasmania (2002)
  • Diploma of Business Management – TCCI (2008)
  • Certificate IV Workplace Trainer & Assessor – Gordon Institute of TAFE (2004)
  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety – TAFE Tasmania (2001)
  • Certificate III in Waste Management – Griffith University (2003 - 2004)

 

Melissa Burn - Environmental Officer

Melissa's duties include ensuring Dulverton complies with the two Environmental Protection Notices issued to the landfill and organics recycling facility, maintaining the Environmental Management System (EMS) along with providing services relating to strategic and environmental guidance with some of the advisory services that Dulverton perform.

After graduating from the University of Tasmania, Melissa gained employment with Latrobe Council as their Environmental Health Officer, and after two years of employment the opportunity arose to become the Environmental Officer at Dulverton Waste Management in February 2011. Melissa has graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Health Science (Environmental Health).
